A lot of us spent the last couple of months of 2024 planning for 2025. We did our business plans. We looked at our 2024 numbers and set goals for growth in 2025.
The question I have for you is, how are you going to stay on track so that you reach your goals?
For most of us, we struggle with consistent implementation of the activities required for us to achieve the goals we have set.
Something happens to derail you. You all of a sudden get busy doing deals and put your well thought out new habits to the side in favor of your comfortable routines.
At the end of 2025 you look back and realise that you have been in reaction mode the entire year…again.
I don't want you to have that revelation at the end of this year,First name / my friend.
The exciting part of this is that you can change your outcome. You can transform your business and achieve the results you wrote down in your business plan.
It will require you to get uncomfortable. It will require you to shift your mindset to that of a proactive business owner instead of a reactive commissioned salesperson. It will push your limits and on some days it will be really hard.
Here are some tips for you on how to achieve your goals this year:
Write down your goals (volume, income, health, relationships etc)
Share those goals with someone you trust
Ask yourself what activities you need to do on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to achieve this goal
Tell yourself on a daily basis that you deserve this. That you are worthy of success (how you see success not how anyone else sees it)
Track your activities daily and weekly
Review your activities against your results on a monthly basis
Adjust your activities if you find that they are not moving you forward towards your goal
Find an accountability partner that is as dedicated to achieving results as you are *this is important-the wrong person can bring you down and allow you to make excuses.
Be part of a community of like minded entrepreneurs
Work with a mentor or business coach (like me!)-the right mentor or coach can help you get results
Detach your self worth from your business. Your success or failure has nothing to do with who you are as a person. Remember that when things get tough or someone tells you that you can't do this.
If you have not done a business plan you are not alone. You would be surprised at how many solopreneurs have never don't have one. However, it's never too late to start.
Let this year be the year that you took charge of your business and felt the power and confidence that goes with it.
